2002	May 15	The 18th Annual General Meeting at Toranomon Pastoral Held together with: A Commemorative Lecture The 2nd JVIA Awards Ceremony Fellowship Banquet
	June 13	2002 Kansai Branch Annual General Meeting
	July 8-12	The 8th Basic Course on Vacuum Technology at Kanagawa Industrial Technology Research Institute
	July 21-27	The 34th Inspection and Study Tour to the Semicon West
	Sep 11-13	The 24th International Vacuum Exhibition "VACUUM2002" at Tokyo Big Sight Together with: Sep.11: International Exchange Conference, Fellowship Banquet, etc. Sep.12: Vacuum Forum, Basic Course on Vacuum Technology, Presentation of exhibited products, etc. Sep.13: Vacuum Symposium, Basic Course on Vacuum Technology, Presentation of exhibited products, etc.
	Oct.	The 35th Overseas Inspection and Study Tour (Location will be advised at a later date.)
2003	Jan 16	2003 New Year's Gathering Together with: New Year's Commemorative Lecture New Year's Gathering

In addition to the above-mentioned activities, meetings of seven active committees are actively held monthly. "Vacuum Journal," a technology information magazine on vacuum, is issued bi-monthly in the odd months, six times in a year.
