The Vacuum Society of Japan, an academic institute, is the parent organization of JVIA. Even after JVIA was separated from VSJ, both organizations are still close partners. The largest cooperation project is co-hosting the "International Vacuum Exhibition." In recent years, further cooperation has been generated in such activities as the establishment of traceability methods of vacuum pressure, the proposals for and setting-up of vacuum technology specifications and standards related to ISO. From now on, strengthening the cooperation between the organizations in the field of vacuum technology education will be actively pursued.
